There are three pyrimidines and two purines.
The pyrimidines are
Cytosine (C)
Thymine (T)
Uracil (U)
The pyrimidines are
Adenine (A)
Guanine (G)
And they pair
Cytosine (C) to Guanine (G) via three hydrogen bonds
Thymine (T) to Adenine (A) via two hydrogen bonds
Uracil (U) to Adenine (A) via two hydrogen bonds
The Thymine (T) to Adenine (A) pair is only found in DNA while the Uracil (U) to Adenine (A) is only found in RNA.
